As a freshman, managing time and developing good study habits is key in high school. The environment that students work in is definitely something that should be considered when studying. Here is a list of places to study that will spark productivity and produce the best results.
Flower Mound Library: This is a great place to work after school because it is within walking distance for those who cannot get a ride. The quiet atmosphere of a library will allow students to focus and concentrate on work. Monday- Wednesday 9AM–9PM Thursday9AM–5PM Friday- Saturday11AM–5PM Sunday1–5PM
Trio Craft Coffee: This shop is known for their rustic feel and amazing food and coffee. The atmosphere is perfect for studying with friends and provides a relaxing experience that is sure to boost productivity. Monday- Friday 6:30AM–6PM Saturday7AM–6PM Sunday8AM–3PM
Epic Gelato:This is a very popular ice cream shop in Lakeside. There is a computer provided inside the shop for usage by customers and free wifi. This place is great to unwind with a cup of gelato and at the same time work productively. Monday-Sunday 7AM-10PM
Paradise Bistro: This is also a popular restaurant in Lakeside. It has breakfast, sandwiches, salads, soups, and coffee. This is a great place to have lunch and a study session with friends. Sunday-Thursday 7AM–8PM Friday-Saturday7AM–10PM
Flex Spaces: If you need to get some quick studying or homework in, coming to school a bit early can be beneficial. The flex spaces are spread out around the 9th grade campus open for any of the freshman students to use. School day mornings starting at 7AM
Knowing what works best when it comes to studying will definitely help students be more successful. Hopefully this list will allow students to get a good idea of some of the hot spots for productive working. Feel free to try out any of these places and have fun experimenting!
